Who wouldn't want to live here?

Who wouldn't want to live here?

If I have my time zones figured out right, April should be landing in Honolulu in the next few minutes, completing the first 2612 miles of her trip home.  She left Pago Pago last night.  She has told us how Flight Night at the Samoa airport is always a big deal.  There are so few flights in and out of there that the twice weekly arrival and departure of Hawaiian Airlines flights draws a partying crowd.  There’s not much else to do on a Thursday night in Samoa.  I can’t stop thinking about what her departure must have felt like.  For the past year she has been living in a place of such extreme beauty that her photos bring tears to my eyes.  She has had adventure, found love, and had a chance to do good in the world.  But she has also been challenged and faced difficulties.  She has been homesick, and yet I know that when she returns home she will always feel homesick for Samoa.  I hope and pray that the return to her boring family is all that she hopes.
